STRAIGHT ARM STRENGTH SERIES: FRONT LEVER

In the straight arm strength series I'm going to show you my 3 favourite straight arm strength exercises that are all gymnastic based: the front lever, the back lever and the planche.


Straight arm work is a foundation for gymnastic skill strength as it focuses on creating full body tension, shoulder stability and wrist/grip strength.


In video 1 of the series we’re going to start off with the front lever. The front lever progression will help you pull together your lats and pelvis together through core compression.


Follow along and be prepared to really feel your back muscles burn up but if you hold that pressure, it’ll really start to work out for you.
